Eyal Tevet Male Oil Paintings
Eyal Tevet (born 1966) is a gay Israeli artist, interior designer and landscape architect. He recently presented a single exhibition (curated by Vera Pilpoul) in the Artist House of the municipality of Tel Aviv, and his oil paintings on wooden boards are a colorful depiction of everyday life in his gay family of 2 dads and 3 daughters, in Israel. His work is inspired by Lucien Freud and Egon Schiele, and his creative process involves taking photographs of his subjects first. He then captures characteristics of his subjects through thick layers of oil paint.
