Amir Ginat Male Art
Amir Ginat was born in 1946 in Kibbutz Kfar Masarik, and currently living for more than 50 years in Kibbutz Mishmar Haemek, in the North of Israel. He studied painting with various teachers in Tel Aviv and Haifa, and he draws men's figures inspired by photographs and models.
He loves to find the human beauty he sees in a figure that serves his inspiration. His techniques vary between painting in oil and acrylic on canvas, and pastel chalk and charcoal on paper. He says: "My goal is to find the beauty and harmony of each human being and convey it to the viewer".
Amir came out of the closet recently after 52 years of marriage in which he had 4 kids, and 8 grand children.
