Nimrod Avigal - Homo Oil Paintings

Israeli artist Nimrod Avigal was born in the USA, grew up in Haifa, Israel, and lives in Tel-Aviv. He is a human rights activist, lawyer, painter and a photographer. His figurative paintings in oil are an ode to the male beauty, queer identity and sexuality. Avigal studied under Israeli artists such as Avishai Platek and the The New Barbizon Group, and uses bright color blocks to create rich and empowering portraits.
