Dror Amsallem Contemporary Gay Art

Contemporary Israeli artist Dror Amsallem is a graduate of the best schools in Israel (B.F.A in Holon Institute of Technology and M.F.A from Betzalel), and is the founder of Bayad Magazine - a local homoerotic fanzine of gay smut, arts and subculture, founded in 2010 in Tel Aviv

The magazine published a few issues on paper before migrating to online platforms in 2013.

Dror's work is a graphic documentation of the Israeli gay experience, with a touch of surrealism, and always with a message.
